Let’s Insure New Year’s Resolutions Facebook Competition Terms & Conditions

This competition is run by Let’s Insure and as a condition of entry, (You) will be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based on merit.
2. The Promoter is Let’s Insure (Promoter/We/Us), a trading name of Select AFSL Pty Limited ABN 34 151 931 618, AFSL No 408647.

Eligibility

3. This competition is open for entry by any Australian resident over the age of 18, excluding:
   • Employees of Let’s Insure and related companies;
   • A spouse, de-facto partner, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a Let’s Insure employee; and
   • Any person who has breached any of these terms and conditions.
4. This promotion commences at 12pm AEST on 8 January 2018 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 12 January 2018.
5. To enter this competition, a participant must:
   • In the competition post’s comments section, answer the prompt, “What’s your New Year’s resolution?”
6. Only one entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
7. Let’s Insure reserves the right to disqualify anyone who tampers with the competition eligibility process, who does not comply with these terms and conditions or who has, in Let’s Insure’s opinion, engaged in conduct in entering this competition which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of Let’s Insure.
8. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free from any copyright or trademark claims by third parties.

Prizes and Winner Announcement

9. There will be one winner announced on 17 January 2018.
10. Winners will receive a $50 eftpos card.
11. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. If a prize or receipt of it incurs a tax liability, the relevant recipient of the prize (“Recipient”) is liable for payment of such tax.
12. The prize winner(s) will be selected based on their skill and creativity used in answering the competition question. The decision of the panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. The winner(s) will be contacted to confirm their postal address by 17 January 2018 and announced on https://www.facebook.com/letsinsure/ on 17 January 2018.
14. The Promoter will do our best to contact the winner(s). If a winner does not claim their prize within 30 days of the winner announcement, we will withdraw the prize.
15. Let’s Insure will not be responsible for any damaged, undelivered, lost or stolen prizes and no replacement will be provided.
16. Let’s Insure reserves the right to re-judge in the event that any entrant is unable to satisfy these terms and conditions, forfeits, or does not claim their prize within 30 days of contact. If any prize remains unclaimed or forfeited, Let’s Insure will choose another winner from the existing entries on 16 February 2018.

General

17. We reserve the right to remove any entry, photo, or comments that do not meet our House Rules or which are deemed inappropriate.
18. If your entry includes a photograph containing a person over the age of 18, You warrant that You have informed them of the likely use of the photograph, and have their consent to use it prior to submitting your entry. If your entry includes a photograph containing a person under the age of 18, You warrant that You have informed their parent or guardian of the likely use of the photograph, and have obtained their permission for use prior to submitting your entry.
19. You affirm that you own the copyright, or other intellectual property, for any comments and/or images submitted as part of your entry. As part of entry, You provide a license to the Promoter to use the comments and/or images in future advertising and for remarketing purposes. This license is non-revocable except with the direct consent of the Promoter. Any liabilities associated with the unauthorised use of any content or images included in an entry are those of the entrant, and not the Promoter.
20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and its related companies are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death (including, but not limited to, any direct, indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the use of a reward or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the promoter, its associated companies or any person associated with any of them.
21. If this competition is interfered with in any way or is unable to be run as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner, or modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition.
22. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, or any other Social Network.
23. All personal information disclosed in the course of this competition is captured and treated in accordance with Let’s Insure’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.letsinsure.com.au/PrivacyPolicyThe information provided will be used in conjunction with this Privacy Policy.
24. All entries become the property of the Promoter once submitted. We reserve the right to use any personal information You provide when entering the competition. We may use this personal information for marketing purposes, such as sending You information about related products and services.
25. By entering this competition you are accepting these terms and conditions.
